Abstract

Wyatt Tee Walker, Executive Assistant to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) writes to William A. Sharpe, the Illinois State Normal University Delegation Chairman of United States National Student Association in Lostant, Illinois, concerning a request Mr. Sharpe had made for information surrounding segregation in Albany, Georgia. Walker explained that the information is not readily available and suggests that Mr. Sharpe contact Professor Howard Zinn in Atlanta, Georgia for the Southern Regional Council's report on Albany, which he explains will assist with Mr. Sharpe’s work.
