Abstract 

This article, produced from Staff and Press Reports, details the indictment of Thomas Blanton Jr., after he turned himself in as a culprit behind the Birmingham Church Bombing at Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in 1963. Blanton, along with three other individuals, all of whom were members of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) were originally suspects in the bombing. Two died in prison, and the other was not indicted.
