Abstract 

In this letter to prominent civil rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer, author Dorothea Rembrandt sends Hamer clothing and food shipments on behalf of the Union County, New Jersey, branch of the Council of Federated Organizations (COFO).  Rembrandt specified that the organization mailed Hamer 1,429 pounds of clothing and 303 pounds of food.  After explaining a few minor issues associated with the shipments, Rembrandt promised to forward money that she had received for Hamer in the next several days.
