Abstract 

This document consisted of heavily summarized transcriptions of taped interviews with civil rights activists Ed Brown, Willie Peacock, June Johnson, and Charlie Cobb. There is also a vacant section for Jessie Morris. These handwritten notes include information about the Mississippi Freedom Summer project and organizations including the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party (MFDP), the Mississippi Action for Community Education (MACE), and the Congress on Racial Equality (CORE).
