Abstract

In this document, author M. G. Lowman criticizes Delta Ministry, the "radical incitation program" in Greenville, Mississippi, for its politically subversive membership and activities. Lowman suggested that a substantial monetary gift from Methodist leaders to the Delta Ministry was intended to help defeat conservative Senator James Eastland in the upcoming election. Lowman noted a number of "plots" and conspiracies by the radical left to unseat or remove conservative, anti-communist officials who Lowe saw as vital to the health of the country.
