Abstract 

The author reports that Delta Ministry employee Reverend Larry Walker announced that the Delta Ministry and the Council of Federated Organizations (COFO) planned to continue demonstrating outside Greenville Mill. The demonstrators were protesting job discrimination against African-Americans. According to his speech, Walker planned to vigorously protest at the Mill until the activists achieved success. Mississippi Republican Party leader James Edwards expressed his hope that the demonstrations would advance the cause of civil rights.
