Abstract

In this interview, civil rights activist Will Campbell discusses the disconnect between Gospel stories of reconciliation and the segregationist attitude of many Christians. He talks about the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) and the seemingly odd trend of white supremacists who are also environmentalists. He and interviewer Charles Marsh discuss the psychology of white supremacist leaders such as Sam Bowers. Campbell notes the theological reasonings behind the Civil Rights Movement.
