The author reports on the opinions of various Southern Methodists regarding a decision by the General Conference of the Methodist Church allowing each jurisdiction the power to decide whether or not to integrate with Negro Central jursdictions. Bishop Marvin A. Franklin and other leaders of the Mississippi Conference Delegation of the Methodist Church approved the decision of the Methodist General Conference, which allowed specifically the Southeastern Juristiction remain all-white in its membership.
