Abstract 

Victoria Gray Adams reflects upon the early life experiences that contributed to her entrance into the Civil Rights Movement. She shares her experiences with Citizen Education Classes, the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), and Freedom Summer. Adams also describes how her Christian faith motivated and sustained her work.
